Christmas Auction 2010

Hello and welcome to the Future Saints Christmas Auction!

In establishing the Future Saints Initiative with St. Mirren Youth Development, SMiSA have sought to find ways and means to raise money for the development of young players that will hopefully make their mark one day in the Saints first team.

After being able to secure some very exclusive pieces of St. Mirren memorabilia that the club has been kind enough to donate to us, SMiSA and the St. Mirren Youth Development team are hopeful that in setting up this auction, they can do exactly that, with fans of the club able to take home those items of memorabilia in time for the festive season!

The latest bidding details are shown in the list of items opposite. These are updated at least once a day by the web team.

What items do you have available to bid on?

Thanks to St. Mirren FC and the hard work of the guys at St. Mirren Youth Development we've been able to secure the following items to go into the auction, with all proceeds going to the Future Saints Initiative which will be used by the guys at St. Mirren Youth Development to help pay for equipment in helping the development of future Saints stars.

This shirt has been signed by all current players and staff.

What Can I Do To Help?

A common misconception is that you have to be a member to do something with us.  This is simply not true as there are many different ways that you can help SMiSA achieve its aims and objectives or better function as a supporters trust without ever paying a monthly contribution.

SMiSA has the power to co-opt two members onto its board from outwith its membership in order to do specific tasks.  These could be anything from helping to run and improve this very website, to working to help improve St. Mirren's standing within the local community.

Furthermore, those individuals who presently own shares in the club itself can, if they wish, sign over any voting rights they have to the trust in order for it to carry greater influence in direct club affairs.

Another way you can help is volunteering some time/assistance at one of our functions.  As with many of our events and activities there are and have been numerous people not associated with SMiSA who pitched in to help make them a success and they would not have been without their help and assistance.

If you feel you have something you can add to the association then please contact us.

We are also willing to accept donations, which can be sent to us via cheque/postal order at this address:

The St Mirren Supporters Trust
10 Deanston Avenue
Barrhead
East Renfrewshire
G78 2BP

However we must stress, please DO NOT send us cash through the post.  You can also collar one of the Commitee Members at most home games and they will be happy to take a donation and put it towards our fund, for any purpose you care to specify.

SMiSA are also open to people who wish to become a patron of the association.  To discuss this please email our chairman, George Adam.

Finally, we are always open to constructive suggestions, whether they come from our membership or outside of it.  If you have an idea that you would like to take to us which you think would make SMiSA better and/or help make a reality for the benefit of the club and its supporters, then please do let us know.  We are always happy to invite visitors to the trust board or general meetings to discuss any such ideas further and in more detail, regardless of their scope.
